Together, the Presenter ID and Presenter Code serve as the credentials for submitting e-filings electronically to Companies House.
Presenter ID:
The Presenter ID is equivalent to the HMRC e-filing return Sign-In ID. However, the Presenter ID cannot be used for signing into Companies House through their website. Similarly, the Companies House Website ID cannot be used as the Presenter ID.
Presenter Code (Password):
The Presenter Code is equivalent to the HMRC e-filing Sign-In password. This code is issued by Companies House and is used when setting up an e-filing account for a company or for submitting returns. The Presenter Code is required for both e-filing agents and individuals who have a Companies House account.
Companies House WebFiling User ID:
This is the Email address you used to create your Companies House website account.
Companies House WebFiling Password:
This is the password issued by Companies House after you have successfully created an account with them.
Company Authentication Code:
The Company Authentication Code is an identifier code issued by Companies House to authenticate a specific company when submitting company accounts electronically. A Company Registration Number or UTR number cannot be used as a Company Authentication Code.
